DISCHARGE SILENCERS FOR FLUIDS AT ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE
General information
The SR series silencers complete the range of products by SIX ITALIA S.p.A. for sound reduction.
Uses.
Silencers are designed to respond to all the dynamic
performance needs in the field of gas velocities, which typically
range from 30 to 80 m/sec and with an acoustic reduction of
the individual frequencies involved, typically in the range
of 20 to 40 dB.
The losses in charge
expressed in mm of a column of water depend on the types of
silencers used and can vary significantly with values ranging
from 10 to 600 mm.
Versions.
The silencer chosen can be one of the four types that
make up the basic models for realising numerous combinations
or one of these combinations.
