| For the correct application of
enamel cycles, it is extremely important to properly prepare the surface or floor to
treat.
STEEL OR LIGHTWEIGHT ALLOYS
Preparing the surface
- The surface must be free of oil, grease and any oily marks
that should be removed with special solvents or detergents.
- The surface must be free of rust or dust. In order to achieve
good anti-corrosive protection and proper adhesion, we recommend that the surface be
sandblasted or sanded with 40-60 grain sandpaper before applying an anticorrosive primer.
Some supports can be chemically prepared. In this case, it is best to contact our
technical department for information on the correct cycle and its compatibility with the
system.
- Once the support is dry and clean, apply one coat of EPOSIX
PRIMER BS or EPOSIX PRIMER MC with a roller, spray or brush.
APPROXIMATE YIELD : 150-200 gr/m2
